Cynthia Ann Ramirez, 55, of Arkansas City, died Monday (February 17, 2014) at the Via Christi Medical Center - St. Joseph's Campus of Wichita.
Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday (February 21, 2014) at the First Assembly of God Church of Arkansas City. Pastor James Newman will officiate.
Cremation has been effected.
Cynthia was born October 5, 1958, in San Diego, California, to Warren "Joe" and Mildred L. (Pool) Palmer. She was reared and educated in Arkansas City, graduating from Arkansas City High School in 1977.
Survivors include two children Jason Ramirez and his companion Maggie Stuckey of Pittsburg, Kansas, Maria and husband Brian Shire of Winfield; her mother Millie Palmer and her companion Don Hamilton of Arkansas City; sisters Connie Palmer of Arkansas City, Diane and husband Lonnie Vaughan of Wichita; grandchildren DeAngelo Tate, Nina Tate, Cody and wife Tia Shire, Brianna Shire, Gracie Shire; great-grandchildren Caydon Badley and Liam Shire; niece Caitlin and husband Chad Raymond; nephew Michael Vaughan and a great-nephew Caysen Raymond.
She was preceded in death by her father.
